Artist Development

Most artist development is a logo and a Spotify upload. We build the positioning radio editors need before they'll listen.

What it is

What we mean by artist development

Most artist development work is a logo, a press shot, and a Spotify upload. The single drops into nothing. There's no editorial pickup, no playlist relationships, no second listen from anyone who isn't already a friend. The artist plays the same thirty venues again next year.

Positioning comes first. What the artist is actually saying, who it's for, where the work belongs. After that, the rollout: visual identity, release calendar, supporting content, and the editorial outreach into the relationships we kept from the label days. We're not the artist's manager and we're not the label. We build the brand assets and the strategy. The manager and label do the rest.

Who it's for

Best fit if you're one of these

01

Emerging artists with releases coming up who need a brand foundation, not just a single

02

Established artists relaunching under a new sound or label deal

03

Labels developing roster acts who need outsourced creative direction

How we work

Three phases, no surprises

  1. 01

    Discovery

A listening session and a two-day creative deep-dive. What's the artist trying to say, who is it for, what's the unique sound, where are the references.

  2. 02

    Identity & plan

Positioning brief, visual identity, and the six-month release plan, delivered over four to six weeks. Approved by artist and manager before we activate.

  3. 03

    Activation

Production of release-supporting content (visualisers, music videos, social) and execution of editorial and playlist outreach.

Pricing

Project-based. Transparent. No hidden line items

A full artist-development package runs AED 60 to 150K depending on whether the rollout is around a single, an EP, or an album. Music video production sits outside that. We scope and quote it separately. For artists with consistent releases, we also offer ongoing retainers.

FAQ

Common questions before we start

Are you a label or management?

Neither. We're a creative and strategy partner. We work alongside your existing label and management, or we recommend trusted partners if you don't have them yet.

What kind of artists do you work with?

We've worked across pop, electronic, alternative, and hip-hop. Less experience in country, classical, or folk. The genre matters less than the artist's commitment to the work.

Can you guarantee playlist placements?

Anyone who guarantees that is lying. We can guarantee strong outreach with a credible pitch. The actual placements depend on the music.

Send us the brief

Most agencies will reply with a deck. Inside one business day we'll send you a treatment, suggested dates, and a fixed price. If we don't think we're the right fit we'll say that instead. You'll know after the first call whether you want us on this or not.
